I’m a big fan of Pixar and the work that they do. Somehow they manage to encapsulate touching stories within fantastic animation, bringing us true movie magic such as WALL·E and Toy Story 3. Next June, Pixar is set to bedazzle us again with the release of Brave.

I first heard about Brave a couple of months ago and was pretty interested in the concept, but hadn’t heard much about it since. I knew the general concept of the story – Scottish highlands, girl hero, lots of red hair and plenty of nature. The trailer below gives us a bit more of a clue about the movie

Apart from Kelly Macdonald, who plays the lead, the movie features the voice work of Billy Connolly, Emma Thompson, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson, Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters and will hit the cinemas in 3D on June 22, 2012.
