The Best of February’s Comic Book Covers

It may still be November, but February’s comic book covers are already on display. This was a great month for covers, so much so that I couldn’t just narrow it down to the usual 10. So, from absolutely stunning covers to the ones that just made me giggle, here are my top 20 comic book covers for the month of February:

20. Animal Man #6

Cover by Travel Foreman

The premise for this issue (fans get to “watch” the superhero film Buddy Baker starred in) is cool on its own, but Travel Foreman‘s cover really sells the concept.

19. King Conan: Phoenix of the Sword #2

Andrew Robinson always does terrific work. The colors on this are gorgeous.

18. The Punisher #8

The second I saw this, I wanted to know more. That’s the mark of a great cover. Beautiful work from Marco Checchetto.

17. Penguin: Pain and Prejudice #5

Penguin #6

Cover by Szymon Kudranski

I’m going to be sad to see this comic end, but it looks like it’ll be going out with a bang. Here’s hoping DC gives Szymon Kudranski lots more covers after this wraps.

16. Hulk #48

The saddest thing about Black Panther being canceled that I won’t get to enjoy Francesco Francavilla‘s covers anymore.

11. Batman #6

This is feels a little more Spawn-esque than Capullo‘s previous Batman covers, but in this case, it’s not a bad thing.
