We just had the trailer for upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman drop, and I’ve got to say – this is not your everyday Disney adventure with dwarves singing ‘Hey ho, hey ho’. The two Snow White-based movies – the other being Tarsem Singh‘s upcoming Mirror, Mirror - don’t look like they could be further apart. While his is a colorful, bright, happy, child-approved movie; this one seems dark, grim and actually kind of scary. The only concern that I have is that I’ve still got big problems seeing Chris Hemsworth and Kristen Stewart as anything but Thor and Bella; I can’t but help feel that the Wicked Queen wants to kill Bella and so she sends Thor to do her handiwork. Hopefully that’ll change when I see the movie.
