One of the things that we do best here at CSICON is report what actors might be under consideration for various movies. Today, we do that very same thing yet again.
Remember when RoboCop was Michael C. Hall? Or how about the time when we heard Peter Dinklage was going to be M.O.D.O.K.? That was almost as fun as the time when we learned they were casting Jennifer Garner as Mrs. Marple or the time they wanted Channing Tatum to be Peter Pan.
If all goes well, this piece of news is going to seem just as silly in a couple of weeks as we learn who they’re really casting as Robocop, because we’ve just learned that they’re looking at Russell Crowe as a possible contender for the lead in RoboCop, the 2013 reboot by José Padilha.
Yup. Russell. Crowe.
Sure, Russell Crowe, MIGHT star in Aronofsky's NOAH... but do you know what else he MIGHT star in? Three words: Ro. Bo. Cop. #FloatThisBoat

Responding to the recent rumors surrounding Crowe as the possible lead for Darren Aronofsky’s next film, Noah, Jeff Sneider from Variety, responded:
Now; “The Insnider” has been wrong before, but with his track record, I’m inclined to wonder what’s going on here. Really? Russell Crowe as Robocop? I’m not seeing it.
