Its almost like they planned this? Hot after the new Resident Evil: Retribution trailer comes the new Resident Evil 6 trailer from Capcom.
So what does the trailer tell us? Well, it looks like the game is spread over three chapters and in three locations with – you guessed it – three different playable characters.
First, the player can play as Leon Kennedy after a virus has been leaked into a major city where hilariously even the president has come down with the zombie sniffles. Next in rides Chris ‘Steroids’ Redfield with a military team at what appears to be the virus breaking out in the previously mentioned city. The last part of the trailer shows where things go a bit bat-shit insane as it looks like the player takes control of a new Eminem look-a-like escorting who I think is Ashley from Resident Evil 4 around what looks like a eastern European village.
Overall game-play looks identical to Resident Evil 5, but one thing did occur in the trailer very quickly that is interesting. At around one minute and fourty seconds Chris goes into a cover behind a wall using some form of cover system. So looks like even the Resident Evil series succumbs to the cover system trend. Will it be an improvement? Lets hope for the best for the release date of 20th November.
