It’s that time of the week again! This week’s comics are now in my hands, and I’d like to celebrate last week’s offerings one last time before I dive in and start enjoying them. From the history of Nikola Tesla to unusual power manifestations, here are the funniest, coolest, and all around greatest panels of the week:
10. Godzilla: Kingdom Of Monsters #9
Bears look kind of goofy when they're running in terror.
Even bears know not to mess with the likes of Mechagodzilla!
9. Captain America and Bucky #624
Unfortunately, yes.
There’s a part of me that’d be really excited if I saw that shield coming through my windshield. I love Chris Samnee‘s art here.
8. All-Star Western #3
"Screw this city! I'm going home!"
The image of a grumpy Jonah Hex stomping off is one I’ll file away for the next time I need to smile.
7. Secret Avengers #19
This would be a bad time for a door to jam.
It must feel extremely satisfying to pull something like this off.
6. RASL #12
I'll get right on that. Nothing like pissing off dead scientists.
This was one of the most engaging comics I read all week. I wonder what it is that makes Tesla and comics work so well together.
5. The Flash #3
"Superman remembered to put the cap back on the pen after he gave me an autograph!"
I have a soft spot for superheroes doing neat things for kids, and this panel hit it perfectly.
4. Wolverine and the X-Men #2
Well. It's probably someone's mutant power.
No one is immune to Idie’s adorableness.
3. The Shade #2
If a movie titled Gigolo Vampire Hit Men existed, I'd watch it at least 10 times.
Wonderful facial expressions and some truly fun dialogue. There were so many great panels in the comic it deserves its own top 10 list.
2. Fantastic Four #600
"Me neither! Wait. Uh-oh."
It’s easy to be an optimist when you can set folks on fire.
1. Justice League Dark #3
The only way this panel could be improved would be to give Deadman some chest hair.
Every time I look at this panel I collapse into giggles. Somehow, it never stops being funny, and that makes it my panel of the week.
