Inspired by the Friday Five: Cheerleaders theme, it’s time to show a game I’m excited about. Lollipop Chainsaw is set to be released some time during this year and lets gamers chainsaw zombies as a blonde teenage cheerleader. The selling point? Suda51 is the creative director.
The man behind No More Heroes and Killer 7 steps up to guide us through the zombie infested school-yard by reigning down death explosions all the while the hero Juliet Starling sucks away on lollipops. So far what has been shown of the game is non-stop screamadelic excitement as Night of the Living Dead meets My Little Pony with a slice of Machete for good measure.
The story of the game revolves around the villian Swan, an emo demented school boy, fights to take over the world by raising the dead. Cue Juliet Starling [... who has a Twitter account - Ed Note.] to take this on with an explosion of colours and violence.
