Joss Whedon Has Magical Time Bending Powers

Every now and again, a friend of mine will comment that I have mystical time-bending powers, since I seem to get so much done in a normal day. I’ll tell you this: I ain’t got shit on Joss Whedon.

You know that movie he’s making right now? Yeah, the multi-million dollar blockbuster-to-be? One of the most anticipated movies of 2012? The one starring two-time Academy Award nominee Robert Downey Jr., two-time Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner, one-time Academy Award nominee Samuel L. Jackson, one-time Academy Award nominee Mark Ruffalo and … well … Teen Choice Award nominees Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth? You know; The Avengers.

Much Ado about Nothing

Much Ado about Nothing

Somehow, while directing that movie, he seems to have found time to sneak off to somewhere else and create a movie called Much Ado About Nothing, starring a whole lot of actors that have been in his previous movies and series, including Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof in the lead roles and Nathan Fillion , Clark Gregg and many more in other roles.

I’m guessing it’s a short movie thrown together over a couple of days – two or three weekends – but it’s an impressive task nonetheless. The original Shakespeare play that I assume this is based on is a complicated piece of work, and I’m looking forwards to seeing what this is all about.

Until then, all my respect to Mr. Whedon!
