Today marks the birthday of two of our favorite Avengers! Scarlett Johansson turns 27 (I know, right!?) and Mark Ruffalo turns 44! Happy birthday to the both of you!

Scarlett and Mark are both set to appear in next year’s tentpole extravaganza, The Avengers, alongside fellow actors like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr..
Scarlett, who takes on the role of Natasha “Black Widow” Romanoff, first appeared in this role when she was in Iron Man 2 with Robert Downey Jr., while Mark takes on the challenge of being the third Bruce Banner in as many movies, replacing both Edward Norton and Eric Bana from the previous movies.
Despite their considerable acting careers, having done movies since 1994 and 1989, respectively, The Avengers will be the first movie that they appear in together. Their closest connection in the past has been via fellow actor Matt Damon, who did We Bought a Zoo with Scarlett and who will appear in Margaret alongside Mark Ruffalo.
