Here’s an interesting rumor; CBS seems to be in the process of creating a comedy pilot for a series about nerdy girls called Super Fun Night, starring Rebel Wilson, who you may remember as Brynn on Bridesmaids.

Now, I’m not really sure what “nerdy girls” means in this context, but the quote from the Hollywood Reporter is:
The network has ordered a pilot for Super Fun Night, a multi-camera comedy that revolves around three nerdy female friends on their ”funcomfortable” quest to have “super fun” every Friday night.
I’m cautiously optimistic, because this has the potential to be something pretty damn funny, but I’m terrified that this show is just going to be a “The Big Bang Theory, but with girls!”, which isn’t really what we need right now … Also, what does “funcomfortable” even mean? Something that’s both fun and uncomfortable at the same time? Are these girls going out of their way to challenge their comfort zones?
I really hope this turns out to be great, but until we know more, let’s just err on the side of caution, shall we?
