The recent Blu-Ray release of the entire Star Wars saga brings with it a bucket-load of extras that had never before been available to the public. The first of these is a stack of rare behind-the-scenes photos from the original trilogy.
While looking at these pictures, I’m sometimes struck by what feels almost amateurish, and it amazes me that the movies still managed to become such amazing pieces of art history despite of it. … And until George Lucas got the idea to keep ‘updating’ them.
