I’d like to take the time to review one of the worst games I have ever played. It’s actually so bad that this writeup needs to be published to warn you people about not playing this game.
The game generally revolves around Amy. And her caregiver Lana.
Already, are you as ‘meh’ as I am? If not, you should be, because that’s pretty much all there is until much later into the bottleneck that they call a game. I’m actually angry at this game, they are on a train and the train derails, leaving the two to explore the dark, dank railway and it’s through this ordeal that Amy’s supernatural powers are unlocked. This should be an awesome survival horror story, like the Clock Tower series for Playstation 2! But it’s seriously not.
Unfortunately, I spent my hard earned bucks on this crap and – being the pedant that I am – I broke my back to finish the game. It wasn’t because I put it on hard but rather because this game went out of its way to take a huge dump on me in terms of gameplay.
Let’s focus on checkpoints. First off, I didn’t even know Amy had checkpoints, considering I pretty much had to restart every scene I played. It felt like I was playing Demons Souls all over again, only that was more forgiving in way of checkpoint.
Graphics, then? This game looks like a PS2 game. A bad one. I saw more action out of things like walls that weren’t supposed to be there than I did the dead man that was chasing me, that I couldn’t kill while turning around?
As a PSN game I’ve been waiting for for at least a year I’m deeply disappointed. In fact, this game doesn’t give me anything to smile about, and I am willing to give benefit of the doubt? But hell no; not this time! Avoid this game like the plague.
